My Coffee Journey

I worked in various cafes in Helsinki and London for 4 years while I was studying at University. It was only when I discovered what was happening inside roasteries that I considered coffee to be a long term career.

I first experienced working in roasteries as a production assistant, I then moved on to roasting coffee which I found to be something I really enjoyed. As my experience and skillset grew, I was able to move into sourcing, QC, training and managing people, product development and finally managing entire roasteries and coffee programs as a Head of Coffee.

I have always had a strong desire to travel the world and my job eventually allowed me to do that when I began to visit origin countries. In my current role, I get to spend lots of time in Colombia and also visit our fantastic customers all over Europe. I've always had a strong desire to compete in coffee competitions and I have been competing in barista, brewers and cup tasters for many years. I also love to pass on my experience and knowledge in the form of coaching and mentorship.
